Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account or place an order. The Site and its checkout process are intended for use by adults on behalf of children.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate, current information when creating an account and keep it up to date. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

We make reasonable efforts to display accurate product descriptions, images, and pricing. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content are error-free. Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse an order, or correct pricing errors, even after an order has been placed and confirmed.

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order. Payment is processed securely through Authorize.net at the time of purchase; card information is never transmitted to or stored on our own servers. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and the items in your order, using live rates from our shipping partner. Customers within 10 miles of our warehouse (ZIP code 07201) qualify for free local delivery. Estimated delivery times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed; we are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier or events outside our control.

Returns are accepted within 30 days of the delivery date. To be eligible, the item must be unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging, and proof of purchase is required.

Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned: digital products or downloadable content; customized or personalized products; and items that have been used, damaged by the customer, or are missing parts not due to our error.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the item and packaging. We will replace the item or issue a refund at no additional cost.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the status of your refund. If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your financial institution.

Return Shipping

If the return is due to our error (an incorrect or defective item), we cover the return shipping cost. For all other eligible returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Discount codes are subject to the terms displayed at the time of use (including minimum order amounts, expiration dates, and usage limits) and may be modified, restricted, or discontinued at any time. Discount codes have no cash value and may not be combined unless explicitly stated.

If you submit a product review or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and publish that content in connection with the Service. Reviews are subject to our approval before publication. You are solely responsible for the content you submit and represent that it is truthful and does not violate any third party's rights. We reserve the right to remove any content at our discretion.

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, product designs, and flashcard content — is the property of Raíces Learning or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our prior written permission.

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, other accounts, or our systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Site's operation.
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Site without our permission.
• Provide false information when creating an account or placing an order.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

The Site relies on third-party services, including Authorize.net (payments), EasyPost (shipping), and others, to operate. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of these third-party services.

The Site and products are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Raíces Learning shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or products. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Site or purchase of products shall not exceed the amount you paid for the applicable order.

You agree to indemnify and hold Raíces Learning harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Site.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law principles, and applicable U.S. federal law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
